Freshskin Beauty first approached Upsite in 2015. The owners were dissatisfied with their recently built website and had ambitious plans to become key players in the natural health and beauty industry. Supplying both retail and wholesale customers, Freshskin needed a large scale ecommerce website which would compliment their already established sales on Amazon and eBay.
Whilst Freshskin were experiencing great success on third party selling sites, their own direct sales were disappointing and the owners were keen to wrestle back the high levels of commission they were currently paying to the likes of Amazon and Ebay.
Freshskin asked Upsite to design, develop and manage a new ecommerce website that would allow them to control online sales, stock, payments, shipping and the addition of future products and ranges.
Based on Wordpress and WooCommerce, we developed a responsive ecommerce website solution that gave the client full control of the managing the business online. By using an established CMS like WordPress, we were able to meet the clients budget constraints whilst still delivering a great looking website that would continue to deliver as the company grew.
We also provided onsite training to the Freshskin staff to get them up to speed with managing the commerce side of things.
Once the website was up and running, we committed to work with Freshskin on a retained basis to assist them with ongoing site maintenance, email marketing, search engine optimisation and further development.
Since launch in February 2015, traffic to the Freshskin Beauty website has increased by 92% and sales revenue is up by 84%. We're excited about the great results we continue to achieve for this flagship client and look forward to more success in the future with our ongoing SEO, digital marketing and support.
