Having worked with Weaver Green since 2017, we were excited by the homeware brands plans to open up their first overseas online store in Australia. With all the finer details in place, the client asked Upsite to produce an ecommerce website that would rank and perform on Australian search engines.

What they were looking for

With the Weaver Green brand now well established in the UK market, the client wanted to ensure consistency across international sites. The Australian team needed a fully populated ecommerce store that was optimised for the Australian market. The Queensland based business would operate both online and from a large showroom, making local SEO an additional focus of the project.

What we did

Upsite worked with both the Australian and UK Weaver Green teams to collaborate on this new venture. Our understanding of the business and experience in the UK market put us in a strong position to create a replica site that was tweaked and optimised for Australian shoppers. We conducted new keyword research based on Australian search engine data, and ensured the new site met all of Australia’s legislative requirements.

We created bespoke content, pages and collections based on data collected from keyword research, and applied the same learning to ensure the business would be found locally by people wanting to visit a brick and mortar store.

To support the launch of the business, we created PPC campaigns on Facebook and Google Ads and created an optimised Google My Business account to help them feature in Google's Local Pack.

Results
